About Siraf
Siraf is our brand name; the tea itself comes from the gardens of Amlash in eastern Gilan. The leaves ripen in the humid, misty air of the Amlash foothills, are picked in season and go straight to packing — pure, fragrant Iranian tea with no artificial colouring, no essence, and no distance between the garden and the cup.
Siraf is our brand name, not the name of the place we harvest. Our tea is grown, processed and packed in the gardens of Amlash, in the east of Gilan province. If the name sounds familiar, you may be thinking of the historic port of Siraf in Bushehr — that is a different place and has nothing to do with where our tea is grown.

The route
Leaves are picked from the Amlash gardens in the spring and summer flushes, when the leaf is at its most tender.
Withering, rolling, oxidation, drying. No colouring and no essence enters at any of these stages.
Every batch is checked for brew colour, aroma and leaf consistency before it is packed.
It reaches you without a middleman — removing that step is what keeps the price fair.
